The Maine State Police has updated their active concealed handgun permits statistics.
As of May 15, 2017, there are 18,626 active resident permits. This is a decrease of 50 permits from May 08, 2017 when 18,676 resident permits were active.
As of May 15, 2017, there are 10,581 active non-resident permits. This is an increase of 18 permits from May 08, 2017 when 10,563 non-resident permits were active.
As of May 15, 2017, there are 29,207 total active permits. This is a decrease of 32 permits from May 08, 2017 when 29,239 total permits were active.
